The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health has received confirmation of eleven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 disease. This brings the territory’s total confirmed cases to seventeen—nine in the St. Croix district and eight in the St. Thomas/St. John district.

St. Croix, US Virgin Islands (March 20, 2020)—The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health has received confirmation of three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 disease. St. Croix, US Virgin Islands (March 18, 2020)—The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health  has received confirmation of its third confirmed case of COVID-19 disease. This brings the territory’s total confirmed cases to three—one in the St. Croix district and two in the St. Thomas/St.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS— In light of the COVID-19 public health emergency, Director McIntosh and the staff of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles are implementing the following procedures to help limit the spread of the Coronavirus:

VITRAN TAKING PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES IN THE MIDST OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC

ST. THOMAS – The Department of Public Works, Office of Public Transportation has ramped up its cleaning efforts to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 (coronavirus) on its VITRAN buses and facilities. VITRAN recognizes that a large percentage of its patrons are senior citizens and wants to reassure its ridership that extra precautionary measures have been taken to ensure that the buses are safe and clean.

St. Croix, US Virgin Islands (March 16, 2020) The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health today announced it has received confirmation of its second confirmed case of COVID-19 disease. The territory’s two, total confirmed cases are on St. Croix and St. Thomas/St.John districts.

The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health announces its first confirmed case of COVID-19 disease, the new coronavirus. The territory’s first case is a resident with some recent international travel history to one of the five locations with widespread transmission of the disease.
